Getting on the Water

The property owners association maintains a gated, locked boat launch and ramp. (Boats cannot be launched from the beach or property owner lots.) To obtain ramp/lake access, your boat must:

  1. Belong to a HSPOA property owner (no guest boats);
  2. Have the associated lot number posted on both sides of the boat in 3-inch high numbers (stickers with numbers can be purchased at a hardware store or online);
  3. Be inspected (along with the trailer) by one of the key holders for invasive plants/animals; and
  4. If motored, be registered with the Wisconsin DNR.

Please contact one of the following Association key holders to access the boat lunch ramp and help you inspect your boat and trailer prior to launch:

  • Tim Huth (715) 965-2660 or (715) 965-0144
  • Mike Thayer (715) 572-6707
  • Jerry Woodson (920) 450-3648
  • Steve Hoover (920) 858-1295
  • Dewey Pischke (920) 229-2816 or (920) 229-2818
  • Scott Roeske 262-957-7180
  • Lee Konop 920-254-1550
  • Nick Van Nocker 920-539-2345

Please remember that your guests may not bring their own boats, kayaks, etc. into Hidden Springs Lake. We want to prevent the spread of any invasive species in our lake. Guests must use recreational watercraft provided by property owners.

Observe the ‘SLOW, NO WAKE SPEED.’ This means a speed which a vessel moves as slowly as possible while maintaining steerage control. The entire Hidden Springs Lake is a No Wake Zone. No Wake Zones are established to protect the safety of boaters, swimmers, property and to prevent erosion of the shoreline. Excessive speed is not only dangerous, but it’s also unlawful. Wisconsin state law states that it is illegal to “Exceed the speeds posted or charted in any specific zone or area.”
